About Me

My name is Daks McClettie Sr. and I’m now the proud owner of the State Farm Insurance Agency located at 5342 Docia Crossing Rd - Suite A, Charlotte, NC. Our office located close to where Charlotte, Huntersville, and Concord intersect. I’ve worked as a licensed insurance professional for a little over 20 years now. I’ve had the pleasure of working with State Farm since May of 2012, as the office manager for the Howard Johnson Jr. State Farm agency, which was also at this same Charlotte location.

I was born and raised in Charlotte, NC and have worked in Charlotte for my entire insurance career. I’ve witnessed this particular area of North Carolina explode with new residents and new developments and I’ve had the honor of helping many people and businesses with their protection needs. I’m happily married to my beautiful and wonderful wife, Angela, for almost 22 years now and we have three children, two boys and our “baby girl”, that we’re extremely proud of.

My parents instilled in me the importance of being friendly, caring, and neighborly, in addition to other positive attributes. My mother was also very instrumental in fueling my desire to be an entrepreneur. By earning this opportunity to be at the helm of my own team, State Farm is now allowing me to combine those character traits to go along with my passion for helping others, to insure that we are enriching our customers and the community with the knowledge and tools to navigate the pitfalls in life while attaining their goals and dreams.

I am a native of Charlotte and graduate of West Charlotte Senior High School class of 96, where I completed my Cosmetology course and state board requirements. I have been in the beauty industry for over 20 years and am looking forward to my new career in insurance, where I can continue to give great customer service.
